A small care routine helps an ultrasonic aroma diffuser stay clean between uses. Always follow the instructions supplied with your diffuser first; the product manual takes priority over this general guide.
Before cleaning
- Switch the diffuser off and unplug the power cable.
- Allow the unit to cool and stop completely.
- Empty unused water in the direction recommended by the product manual, keeping water away from air outlets and electrical components.
Routine care
Wipe the reservoir and accessible interior surfaces with a soft, clean cloth. Use only the cleaning method approved in the manual. Do not immerse the base, power connection, or electrical components in water, and avoid abrasive tools or harsh cleaners.
Between fragrance oils
Empty unused water after each session. When changing scents, clean the reservoir so old fragrance does not carry into the next use. If oil residue remains, follow the manual’s deeper-cleaning instructions before operating the diffuser again.
Choose a stable location
Place the diffuser on a level, dry, stable surface away from edges, heat sources, and direct sunlight. Keep the mist outlet clear and allow room around the unit for normal airflow.
Use compatible fragrance
Use only fragrance oils identified as compatible with ultrasonic diffusers and follow the recommended quantity. Stop using the unit if you notice damage, unusual heat, persistent residue, or irregular operation.
